We’re looking for a dependable and self-motivated Fence Shop Associate to support our shop operations and help us continue to deliver exceptional service. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude are essential.
Responsibilities:
Work alongside our Shop Manager to assist with a variety of operational tasks, including:
Managing inventory and stocking materials
Performing fleet vehicle maintenance
Servicing and maintaining small tools and equipment
Assisting with material orders and pickups from vendors
Pulling, packaging, and staging orders
Loading and unloading trailers efficiently
Assisting welders with prep work and shop needs
Organizing and maintaining a clean, safe, and functional facility
Maintaining shop grounds
Pre-staining lumber and basic painting
Making deliveries with company vehicle
Requirements:
Must have a current driver's license and reliable transportation
Physically capable of lifting up to 80 lbs
Strong attention to detail
Self-driven with the ability to work independently
Problem-solver with a can-do attitude
Good work ethic and team-focused mindset
Must be punctual and willing to work some weekends
Preferred Experience (Huge Plus!):
Mechanic knowledge and small engine repair
Experience operating heavy equipment
Welding knowledge or experience
CDL certification
Familiarity with fence materials and construction tools
Job Details:
Job Type: Full-time
Expected Hours: 40–55 hours per week
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
